Moodle Masters: setting up and running Masters degrees to be run entirely at a distance
Outline
In 2004 and 2005 the Business School at the University of Strathclyde established online versions of two Masters degrees using Moodle. These degrees are identical in content and award to their face-to-face versions but attract a new market of students. This talk looks at how two existing degrees were adapted and are delivered using Moodle, why Moodle was chosen over the institution's VLE - WebCT -, and the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation.Bio
