Full professor at the Education Faculty and Academic Director of the teaching and learning Center of Université de Montréal, Bruno Poellhuber’s work focuses on the use of learning technologies in higher education, in face-to-face, technology-enriched distance or hybrid courses. Author of various works on teachers and students digital literacy, he co-led the team responsible for the Quebec Digital Competency Reference Framework (MÉES, 2019) and is responsible for its actualization with IA literacy. His research focuses on teachers’ active learning practices with digital technology, as well as on professional development processes involved in this context. His most recent work focuses on the uses of innovative learning technologies for learning such as virtual reality, serious games or artificial intelligence, notably as part of a living laboratory project for learning innovation in higher education. He coleads the CENA project, which aims at bringing many cutting edge developments to the Moodle platform.
