Get hands-on. Get confident. Get ready for what’s next.
As part of Day 1 at MoodleMoot Global 2025, we’re offering focused training workshops to help you dig deeper into Moodle in a practical, personalised way. These interactive sessions are led by experienced facilitators who understand your context—whether you’re configuring a complex Workplace site or designing better courses for higher education.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation, but more importantly, you’ll leave with real skills, tangible progress, and a sense of momentum.
The Hands-on sessions on Tuesday 16 September are included as complimentary options for MoodleMoot Global 2025 attendees but a separate booking is required. Each attendee can book a complimentary ticket to attend one of the hands-on training sessions (limited availability). Get in quick to secure your complimentary spot at your preferred Hands-on session.
Other sessions and presentations will run in parallel for those attendees not interested in attending the Hands-on sessions.
All these add-on sessions are available as separate FREE tickets.
🧠 Expanding Knowledge:
Full Day: Assessment in Moodle LMS
Tuesday 16th September, 10:30-18:00
This comprehensive, hands-on training day explores assessment in Moodle from learner, teacher and administrator perspectives. We’ll begin by defining what we mean by “assessment” and explore various types of assessment as a learner. In our second session, you’ll create gradable activities in a course of your own (provided by us) and learn how to configure the gradebook. Our final session will focus on more advanced features, including what’s new in the latest version of Moodle LMS, and how administrators can configure settings and roles to optimise the teacher and learner experience. Additionally, we’ll share useful resources, courses and plugins to support assessment in Moodle.
Whether you’re an educator or administrator, you’ll leave with practical skills to implement impactful and well-managed assessments in your courses.
If you are new to Moodle, please complete the Introduction to Moodle course on Moodle Academy before attending. More experienced Moodlers will benefit from exploring new settings in Moodle LMS 5.0 and gaining in-depth configuration knowledge of assessment tools.
