Since 2020 the largest crowdfunding project in Moodle’s history has been carried out. A consortium of backers, working with Catalyst and Moodle HQ, has made many enhancements to Moodle’s question bank. The version history of questions is now preserved; questions can be searched for with advanced filters; the way questions can be shared between courses has been greatly enhanced; and the question bank can now be extended with plugins. All the primary goals we initially identified have been successfully achieved.
Reflecting on the progress made over these past five years and the key lessons learned, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment. We are asking: Should we continue? Which next step would bring the biggest benefit to the global Moodle community?
We seek your input. In this session we would like to share some of our favourite ideas for the future to get your feedback. We would also like to open up the discussion to hear any other relevant ideas you might have. Together, let us see if we can continue to push Moodle forwards.
