Day 3

Fate: Building identity in decentralised learning environments

In contexts where training must reach diverse audiences across a wide territory and with very different job realities, delivering a consistent, engaging learning experience aligned with institutional identity is a significant challenge.

This session presents the case of Fate, an Argentine tire manufacturing company with a broad network of distributors. (Note: the brand name “Fate” is pronounced “FAH-teh”, with two syllables — unlike the English word “fate” meaning destiny.) Working with Entornos, Fate successfully implemented a customised Moodle Workplace platform to train salespeople, managers, and commercial leads who were not direct employees.

Attendees will leave with practical insights and reusable ideas, including:

  • Strategies for delivering training to external stakeholders without losing brand identity.

  • Examples of concise content design and identity-based gamification.

  • A replicable framework for decentralized user management in Moodle Workplace.

  • Templates for automated reminders and tracking engagement in distributed teams.
