Eummena presents two impactful success stories from Europe and the Gulf, showcasing how digital learning platforms can address urgent needs while laying the groundwork for long-term, data-driven innovation. Though both cases are powered by Moodle LMS, the insights apply broadly to any organization seeking scalable, inclusive, and results-oriented learning solutions.
The first case is from Saudi Arabia, during the annual Hajj pilgrimage, one of the world’s most complex logistical events. Eummena collaborated with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) to rapidly launch the “Hajj Healthcare Volunteering Essentials” course. Within weeks, thousands of healthcare professionals and volunteers were trained through a tailored digital learning platform, seamlessly integrated with national systems like Nafath (digital ID) and Mumaris+ (licensing). With over 2,000 completions and 95% learner satisfaction, this initiative demonstrated the power of digital learning to deliver at speed and scale in high-stakes environments.
This was part of a broader digital transformation. SCFHS had long used an LMS but faced challenges in performance and support. Eummena overhauled the infrastructure, restored user trust, and helped reimagine it as a sustainable national learning ecosystem. Today, the platform supports over 40,000 learners, 385 content providers, and 131 employment-linked institutions offering a model for scalable public-sector learning.
In Europe, Eummena is collaborating with KU Leuven’s Augment, GITO Overijse, and CVO Antwerp in Belgium to develop Moodle-integrated tools powered by analytics and AI. These include Instructor Dashboards for learner tracking, Program Council Dashboards for pathway planning, and AI Assistants that plan and align content with competencies. These tools support formal education, vocational training, and workplace learning alike.
Together, these stories show how flexible digital platforms can meet immediate goals while driving long-term strategy. This session will share practical insights for organizations at any stage of their digital learning journey.
