A successful case study on how AOSIS customised Moodle to facilitate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) online activities/courses for the healthcare sector.
As a pioneer provider of online CPD for the healthcare sector in South Africa and Namibia, AOSIS customised Moodle to provide and keep records of the professionals’ online CPD activities – a requirement by their professional registration bodies to maintain registration. The developed modules include the purchasing of annual memberships which allow enrolments for multiple courses from activation and capturing the professional’s CPD record in a CPD manager report, which is then exported in the correct specifications for submission to their professional registration bodies.
Andries Jansen, eLearning & eCPD® Manager of AOSIS

Moodle Partners have offered various forms of Moodle training since 2003. How does one provide examples of success in Moodle that educators can replicate in their own classrooms? How do we address digital competencies in engaging learning activities? How do we move beyond tool anxiety into deeper conversations about teaching efficacy?
This talk will explore these questions, as well as provide juicy details about the new Moodle Educator Certification: designed by Moodle HQ and brought to life by Moodle Partners.

The customisation includes ‘Cascading Dropdowns User Profile Fields’ and reporting it, adding Multiple Enrolment keys per course, and unique URL recognition where Moodle only allows login for users navigating from predetermined web sources.
