MoodleMoots provide a space for edtech enthusiasts and Moodle users to collaborate on how to innovate with our open source LMS and improve the way we teach and train. That includes our Moot sponsors, who can speak to Moodle users about how to enhance their Moodle sites to support their teaching and training projects.
My Learning Space (MLS) is our Gold Sponsor at MoodleMoot Australia 2019. MyLearningSpace is a workplace learning company. Established in 2007 to help organisations improve staff performance and business outcomes through better learning, training and development programs, MLS manage all aspects of your Learning Management System including managed learning services, client support, training, consulting, customisation, system integration and content design.
Having built its reputation by partnering with an array of clients in the corporate, government and education sectors to deliver e-learning based on best practice, their successful track record pays testimony to their ability to deliver professional services.
Today we talk to Chad Outten, Founder, about what to expect at the Moot.
Moodle HQ: Hi there, thank you for talking to us today. For those who might now know My Learning Space, could you tell us a little about your solution and what role it plays in on-line learning with Moodle?
My Learning Space, Chad Outten: We’re certified partners of Moodle and Totara, which gives us the flexibility to provide and LMS that is right for your organisation. Whether you’re looking for reduced costs, flexible delivery, staff engagement or more, we’ll work with you to design and deliver your Learning Management System. As educators, we’ve always recognised the benefits of delivering cost-effective and flexible learning via the web. We’re fortunate that our business has come to fruition – and we make a living doing what we’re passionate about.
Moodle HQ: What will My Learning Space be presenting in their sessions at MoodleMoot Australia in July?
My Learning Space, Chad Outten: I’ll be delivering two workshops, one on the Moodle Learner Experience which is essential to understand how dynamic Moodle is for end users and highlights your flexibility in designing engaging courseware. My second workshop goes more directly to the designing engaging learning. Its title says it all: Learning Design Essentials. This is key to keeping your trainees or learners moving in the right direction.
Moodle HQ: What can delegates expect from visiting My Learning Space’s stand in the Moot?
My Learning Space, Chad: Delegates can expect straight answers to even curly questions. We welcome challenges. If we don’t know something, we’ll let you know and find out the right answer. But you’ll find that we are very knowledgeable about how we can make Moodle work for you.
Moodle HQ: And finally, how can delegates keep updated with My Learning Space’s latest news or contact you before the Moot?
My Learning Space, Chad: Please visit our website, which has a wealth of information, including our contact details: www.mylearningspace.com.au or call 1 300 438 567 (GET LMS)
