Have you heard?

On Monday 3 April, we announced that Moodle – the world’s open source learning platform – and Blackboard – education’s partner in change –  are working together to jointly host conferences for their users in New Orleans.

We’ve referred to the joint conference as MoodleMoot US 2017 – New Orleans, hosted by BbWorld and it will be held from 25 – 27 July at the New Orleans Ernst N. Morial Convention Centre.

But what about what to expect when you attend a MoodleMoot, hosted by BbWorld? What other activities, events, opportunities will you get when you attend a BbWorld event?

And how will joining these two edtech conferences look like, before you walk through the doors and during the conference days?

Well, we talked to Phill Miller, Vice President of Teaching and Learning at Blackboard, who has  been to both BbWorld and MoodleMoots for a number of years around the globe, to find out more.

Read through our interview blog with Phill to find out what is in store at this exciting conference coming up!
