Many of us use video in our teaching, either something interesting we find online or content that we are creating for our students. What if we could annotate these videos like we can text? What if we could add context? How about questions to check for understanding? Now we can and it’s EASY and fully integrated into Moodle
About the presenter
Sarah has been at Colgate University for over 13 years, currently working on the Learning and Applied Innovations team. She has a BS in Computer & Information Science from SUNY Polytechnic and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from UW-Stout. As the Instructional Designer for Innovative Media, Sarah collaborates with professors to help them in the crafting of digital media assignments, teaches video editing workshops to students and manages Colgate’s Digital Learning & Media Center, a state-of-the-art digital media creation lab located in Case Library and Geyer Center for Information Technology. She’s currently exploring using 360° video and images to create virtual field experiences for students from faculty research trips.
