With nearly 30 years of experience in test preparation and tutoring, Academic Tutoring Center (ATC) chose Moodle as the learning platform that would support their existing test prep program and give them the ability to extend their reach beyond their existing market. By leveraging aspects of core Moodle and working with eThink Education to create extensive custom reporting, ATC was able to create a robust learning experience that caters to all of their end users including students, parents, and instructors, as well as schools and school boards.
During this session, you will learn about the challenges that led ATC to look to revamp their learning platform, why they chose Moodle to support their efforts, and what solutions they were able to put in place to meet their specific needs, including custom reporting and grade calculations. Furthermore, we will address the results that ATC has seen since switching to Moodle, including expanded reach and industry recognition for their test prep program.

My Learning Consultants didn’t set out to offer a hosting solution. Our focus, after all, is providing best-practices expertise through consulting. Over time though, we found ourselves feeling a bit like Goldilocks searching for a hosting solution that was ‘just right’. It had to let us be creative and leverage the power of open source. It also needed to be a scalable, secure, and upgradable. So, we set out to build something different. Join us as we outline what we were looking for in a hosting provider and how that ideal has come to life in unHosting.
