Mary is the Education Manager at Moodle HQ. Her main responsibility is to help educators make the most of Moodle. She co-created and facilitated the original Learn Moodle MOOCs, and developed and maintains the Moodle Teaching Basics, Moodle Teaching Skills and Moodle Admin Basics programs on Moodle Academy. A languages teacher since 1985, Mary first began teaching with Moodle in 2006 and joined Moodle HQ in 2013. Mary holds a Masters in Blended and Online Education. Having designed the six course Moodle Educator Certification program based on the Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu) Mary is now focusing her energies on an administrator-based competency framework. She creates and voices Moodle tutorials and release videos.

At MoodleMoot global 2023, Mary will be presenting Introducing DigCompLMSAdmin – a competency framework for Moodle site administrators.
