MoodleMoot Global 2023 will be hosted in Hotel Barceló Sants, in the centre of Barcelona. Located above Sants Railway Station, with direct access to the high-speed AVE and Barcelona’s metro and local train links, this hotel is very well connected. It’s just 500 metres from Plaça Espanya and the scenic Montjuïc district, 15 minutes by train from Barcelona-El Prat Airport and 4 minutes by train from Plaça Catalunya.
Access by public transport
Barcelona Sants train station: RENFE, Metro, AVE, 0 km away (the Hotel is located over the train station and 30 m away from Sants Metro station).
From the airport
Barcelona-El Prat airport: 12 km away (there is a connection via train and bus from the airport). Learn how to get to Barcelona City from the airport.
If you land at Barcelona-El Prat airport Terminal 1 or 2, you can catch the following metro. Take the L9 metro to Collblanc, then change to the L5 metro towards Vall d’Hebron and disembark at Sants Estacion (also known as Barna Sants, or Barcelona Sants).
Or, if you land at Terminal 1 and want to catch the train you catch the free shuttle to Terminal 2. From Terminal 2 follow the signs to the airport train station. Take line R2 train towards Barna Sants (Barcelona Sants) / Sants Estacion. The train takes approximately 20 minutes.
Alternatively, a taxi from the airport will cost around 30-35€. If you decide to catch a taxi to move around the city, we recommend you download in advance the Cabify app or the FreeNow app to book your ride.
Accommodation
