Dan has been part of the Moodle community since 2004. As a developer, he has worked on various improvements including SCORM, Plagiarism, Advanced Grading, Assignment, and Attendance. He is now one of only two plugins database curators, responsible for managing the moodle.org plugins database.

As the Community Development Manager at premium Moodle Partner Catalyst IT, Dan manages a team of Moodle developers and is responsible for managing community contributions to a wide range of plugins developed by the Catalyst Team.

Dan works from his home office in Christchurch, New Zealand. Working late nights so he can spend time with his wife and their seven children.

At MoodleMoot Global 2024, Dan will be presenting Performing code reviews on Moodle plugins.
