About Mérida

It is an authentic Mexican city, with streets full of life, colourful markets, cultural activities, delicious and spicy food and music concerts in the streets and squares.

Travel tips

To arrive in Mérida by plane, you have basically 2 flight options. We recommend you to check both options since, depending on your country of origin, one option might be cheaper, or shorter, than the other.

  1. Flying to Mérida.
    • There are some direct flights to Mérida (like Houston, Miami, Toronto, etc) or via México city.
      • Advantage: You will arrive in Mérida, where the event takes place. The airport is around 20 min away by taxi or bus.
      • Disadvantage: You might need to take an extra flight.
      • Vayven (Buses Airport-Mérida)
        • Buses from Mérida Airport to Mérida city center, stopping at Terminal Paseo 60,  very close to the Convention center. Bus trip duration: Around 30 min.
  2. Flying to Cancún and then going by car or bus to Mérida.
    • There are many more direct flights from cities around the world.
      • Advantage: You have plenty of options to go directly, it’s a bigger international airport.
      • Disadvantage: You will need to take some transportation to arrive at Mérida (taxi or bus) and depending on the arrival time, you might need to stay the night there and take the transport the next morning.
      • ADO (Buses Airport-Cancún-Mérida)
        • If you arrive at Cancún during the day, you might take the direct bus from Cancún Airport (Terminals 2, 3, 4) to Mérida city, stopping at Terminal Paseo 60.
Bus trip duration: Around 5 hours.
        • If you arrive late at Cancún, you might need to spend the night in the city and then take the Bus from Cancún City Central Station to Mérida the next morning. Our advise: Choose a hotel next to the central bus station, so that you can easily go there the next morning to take the bus to Mérida, stopping at Terminal Paseo 60.
Bus trip duration: Around 5 hours.
