There are two competitions open to MoodleMoot Global 2024 conference attendees*.
To enter:
- Moodle Party best costume competition:
The Moodle Party theme will be announced in the coming weeks. Turn up to the MoodleMoot Global 2024 party on Wednesday night in the best costume for your chance to win a free ticket to the next global Moot. And why not share a photo of yourself at the MoodleMoot Global 2024 party on social media with the hashtag #MootGlobal23 #BestCostume?A panel of judges will shortlist the best costumes on the night. The shortlist and winner will be announced in the closing session of the conference. - Best presentation:
Vote for the best presentation when you complete your event feedback survey. Moodle HQ and Keynote presentations are excluded from the competition.Voting closes midnight Thursday 31 October (UTC-6). The presentation with the most votes will win. In the case of a draw, a panel of judges will decide the winning presentation.
Each competition wins:
- 1 free** ticket to the next MoodleMoot Global conference.
Both competitions are eligible to MoodleMoot attendees*.
The Moodle Party best costume competition will be announced in the final closing session on Thursday 24 October. Anyone not present will be notified by email.
The Best presentation will be notified by email to the presenters after Thursday 31 October. If there are multiple presenters, they will receive one free ticket between them and will need to arrange who gets to attend for free between themselves.
*Moodle HQ employees and their family members are ineligible to enter the competitions. Keynote presenters are ineligible to enter the best presentation competition.
**No additional expenses are covered. Flights, accommodation and all other expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner.
