Moodle Community Focus Group

This interactive session is designed to gather valuable insights from the Moodle Community. We will employ the 4Ls Retrospective Technique to delve into participants’ experiences with Moodle Community, focusing on what they liked, learned, lacked, and longed for. This technique will help us gather feedback regarding Moodle Community Sites and Moodle Academy (including Moodle Qualifications).

What are the 4Ls?

The 4 Ls is a retrospective technique where team members identify what they loved, loathed, learned, and longed for in a project or sprint of work. The insights we gather from this process will feed into our future planning for the Moodle Community roadmap.

Loved:

  • Participants share what they loved about their experience with the Moodle Community.
  • This helps identify the strengths and positive aspects that should be preserved and built upon.

Lacked:

  • Participants discuss what they lacked or found frustrating.
  • This uncovers pain points and areas for improvement, helping to identify and address user dissatisfaction.

Learned:

  • Participants share the knowledge, skills, or insights they gained.
  • This highlights the educational value and the effectiveness of Moodle’s learning resources.

Longed For:

  • Participants express their desires and wishes for future developments.
  • This provides a vision for future enhancements, reflecting the community’s aspirations.
