Catalyst and UCL have been collaborating on Moodle core since 2020, during which time we have developed an intensely close and highly productive partnership significantly beyond a traditional or transactional model. This talk seeks to present and reflect upon the benefits and outcomes achieved during this time through our close and high-trust partnership across numerous aspects of Moodle engagement.
With foundations built upon fully managed Moodle hosting and maintenance for one of the busiest Moodles in the UK. Our partnership has extended through training, integrations and significant investments in Moodle tracker items and feature development to drive the Moodle product roadmap forward, for the benefit of all. Catalyst and UCL will discuss the enhancements delivered, the learnings and the experiences gained along the way.
Looking ahead to the continued partnership for the overall benefit of Moodle, we will present the successful collaborations which are now moving beyond the two-party partnership – to include wider engagement with sector leaders including Cambridge University, BERN collaborative group and the Open University to name a few.
We strongly believe Moodle collaboration, contribution and community is at the heart of Moodles’s success now and into the future. We welcome all to come and hear how we have been operating in all of these areas and how you might join us in the future.
